Jaws 19 [2015]
A Double Fakeout Fake Criterions email submission from Charlie Brigdenn.
Design Intervention has been on auto-pilot this past week while I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, visiting my parents. In the interim, I’ve gained a bunch of new followers. I’m now just over 200!

The last time I thanked my followers was when I congratulated my 100th follower, so clearly I have a lot of catching up to do! I’ll break down the hundred of you new people into groups and thank you over the course of the next week, so keep an eye out.

Meanwhile, just a general thank-you to all the newcomers, and also thanks to those of you who took the time to answer the Piranha/Jaws homage or rip-off question (the consensus seems to be homage), and of course to those of you who liked posts and reblogged material and added comments!
This sure looks a lot like the Jaws poster to me, but in my quick survey, “Homage or Rip-Off?” the general consensus (actually the UNANIMOUS result!) is “homage.”

Thanks to iamsteihl, amabli and aarjhen for taking time to respond!

(By the way, wouldn’t it be scarier if those piranhas were rushing at the unsuspecting girl on the raft instead of— oh, never miiiiiind.)
